A teacher and researcher with passion for Dubai, who changed the track and became a consultant and project manager – it is me! Born in Ukraine and having lived in Sweden for half of my life, I have always strived to find efficient solutions to different problems. After obtaining my PhD at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm in 2009, I worked as a teacher and researcher in Land Surveying at the University of Gävle in northern Sweden until 2018. Since 2016, I have worked as a consultant and project manager in different geodetic and infrastructural projects in Sweden. Since 2019, I have run two private businesses – education company Geodesiexperten in Stockholm (2019) and Yuri Projects in Dubai (2022). My unique combination of PhD qualifications, strong research background and working in various projects gives me the possibility to find efficient solutions to different challenges and drive the innovation and development work as well as transfer knowledge within the organization. I have high quality awareness and carry out my assignments to achieve the highest value for the customer. I am tolerant to the people surrounding me and have a strong driving force to succeed together with others. In my view, it is of utmost importance to create good atmosphere in a working group where everybody is respected independently of background or qualifications.
